Team Illinois International Select is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving boys and girls ages 10 to 17. Our ambition is to create a premier in-state summer program providing guidance and growth opportunities to at-risk and under-served Illinois youth. We seek to elevate the profile and performance of Illinois-based student athletes so that they are respected and sought out by universities and college coaches in Illinois and throughout the United States. With elite-level basketball training as our core focus, we also emphasize:

(2) Collegiate Mentorship (Planning, Recruitment and Placement)
(3) Sports Psychology (Emphasis on Mental Health and Coping Skills)

Athletics.
Team Illinois International Select is comprised of both boys and girls teams for Grades 5th thru 12th. Team Illinois International Select conducts tryouts throughout the state of Illinois seeking first and second tier elite athletes to represent the great state of Illinois in domestic and international competitions. Selected athletes will have the opportunity to compete against elite competition from all across the US and select foreign countries/regions such as China, Mongolia, France, Lithuania, Italy, Australia, Scandinavia and the Philippines.
Achievements.
In its first year of existence, Team Illinois International Select proudly represented the state in the World games, entering seven teams in the World games competition. Of the seven teams entered, Team Illinois International Select earned two 1st place finishes for grades 5th and 7th and two 2nd place finishes for grades 6th and 8th.
Academics.
Team Illinois International Select places tremendous emphasis on academic success as a requirement for participation in athletics. While many of our student-athletes are repeat honor roll members, others are in need of a wide range of academic support services. All Team Illinois International Select student athletes have access to a wide array of carefully integrated resources, helping to prepare them for immediate success in grade school or high school, and continued success as they continue in their academic career. Team Illinois International Select has established a variety of partnerships and programs designed to cover a wide array of academic enrichment and preparedness needs, targeted on ensuring the future success of all of our student athletes.
